Two countries asked OPEC to arrange an urgent meeting on declining oil prices, according to OPEC president and Nigeria's oil minister Emmanuel Kachikwu.
On the sidelines of the 7th Gulf Intelligence UAE Energy Forum held in Abu Dhabi, he added that the meeting will aim to assess the current situation rather than changing the organisation’s strategy.
He expected the oil price to range between $40 and $50 by the end of 2016.
